This district has a long history, just like we learn about history at school. It was once home to a castle called the Alamut castle. The castle was very big and had lots of rooms for people to live in. It was built over 1000 years ago! Wow, that's a long time ago! The castle was used to protect people who lived in the area from enemy attackers.

Today, people come to Alamut-e Sharqi district to see the castle ruins and learn about its history. They also come to enjoy the beautiful nature and go hiking in the mountains. People who live there work in farming and agriculture. They grow crops like apples, grapes, and nuts.
