Alan Gauld

Alan Gauld is a scientist who studied how people think and solve problems. He developed a theory called "Inference Theory". The theory explains how people take in information, process it, and come up with new ideas or make decisions. Inference theory says that people form beliefs or come to conclusions by looking at the evidence around them and coming up with logical arguments. In other words, we use inference to make sense of the world around us.
