ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Albanians

Okay, so imagine you and your friends are all part of a big group. You all speak the same language and have similar traditions and customs. Well, Albanians are kind of like that. They are a group of people who come from a country called Albania (which is in Europe) and they share a language and cultural traditions.

Now, here's where it gets a bit more complicated. Albanians also live in other countries, like Kosovo and North Macedonia, and they might speak different dialects of the Albanian language. But even though they are spread out, they still share a common identity and cultural heritage.

Albanian history is also pretty interesting. They have a long and ancient history, but more recently they were ruled by other countries, like the Ottoman Empire and then later Italy and Germany. They even had to fight for their independence in the early 20th century. But despite all these challenges, Albanians have remained proud of their culture and traditions.

Overall, Albanians are a group of people with a shared identity and cultural heritage, who live in different countries but still maintain a connection to their Albanian roots.
