Alcohol intolerance

Alcohol intolerance means that when you drink alcohol, your body doesn't like it very much and might make you feel sick. Your body might get a red face, feel hot, have a headache, or feel like throwing up.

Sometimes, people can be born with alcohol intolerance, and sometimes it can happen as they get older. Alcohol intolerance happens because your body has trouble breaking down the alcohol in your drink, and it can't handle the chemicals that come from the alcohol.

Different people can have different levels of alcohol intolerance. Some people might feel a little bit sick, while others might feel really bad. Some people might only have trouble with certain types of alcohol, like wine or beer.

It's important to listen to your body and be careful when drinking alcohol. If you notice that you feel sick or uncomfortable after drinking, it might be a sign that you have alcohol intolerance, and you should consider not drinking as much or not drinking at all.
