Aleuromancy

Okay kiddo, so have you ever heard of a fortune cookie? It's a small cookie that people eat after a meal at some restaurants, and inside the cookie there is a message that gives a prediction or advice about your future.

Well, a long time ago, people used to do something called aleuromancy to predict the future too. Instead of a cookie, they used a special kind of flour called aleuron, and they would write messages or predictions on small pieces of paper and mix them into the flour. Then, they would bake bread using this flour, and whoever got a piece of bread with a message on it would read it and see what their future held.

People thought that the messages came from higher powers or spirits, so they would take them very seriously and make important decisions based on what they read. It was kind of like a mix between a game and a religion.

Nowadays, aleuromancy is not practiced very much, but some people still believe in fortune-telling through other methods like tarot cards or astrology. But remember, these things are just for fun and it's up to you to make your own future!
