Alfred-Marie Liénard

Alfred-Marie Lienard was a French mathematician who lived in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He was best known for discovering Liénard's theorem, which says that the solution of a certain type of mathematical equation will always follow a particular pattern. This theorem is still used today and is important in many areas of mathematics. Liénard was also a professor of probability, a field of mathematics that looks at the likelihood of different events happening. Liénard is remembered for making important contributions to mathematics, and his work is still studied today.
