Alliance (taxonomy)

An alliance is like when you and your friends all agree to play together and help each other out. In the animal world, it means different species of animals also agree to help each other out. They might do this to protect each other from danger, share food or water, or for other reasons. It's like they are all on the same team, even though they are different types of animals.
