Alternated hexagonal tiling honeycomb

Let's imagine a group of bees building a hexagonal honeycomb structure. First, they build a flat hexagon shape with six sides. Then, they build another hexagon directly next to it, but they shift it up a little bit so that the corners of the new hexagon touch the middle of the sides of the first hexagon. They continue this pattern, alternating the position of each new hexagon, so that the corners of one hexagon touch the middle of the sides of the hexagons surrounding it. This pattern creates an alternating hexagonal tiling honeycomb structure. It's like building with blocks, but the blocks are shaped like hexagons and are placed in a particular pattern to make a honeycomb structure.
