Alternative comics

Hi there! So, you know how sometimes you read comic books? Well, alternative comics are a little bit different than the regular superhero comics you might be used to.

Alternative comics are often called indie comics because they are made independently, without the big companies that make superhero comics. They can be about anything - not just superheroes - and often have more personal stories or unique art styles.

Sometimes people call them "underground comics" because they started out being made by people who didn't have a platform or a lot of money to make comics in a traditional way. This meant they were able to be more creative and explore different topics that they might not have been able to if they were working for a big company.

So, in summary, alternative comics are independent, personal, and often unique types of comic books that tell all kinds of stories outside of the superhero genre.
