Computer networking is like when people in a group are talking to each other. The group is the network and the people in the group are computers. The computers send messages over the network so that they can stay in touch and share information. Each computer has an address like a phone number which the other computers use to send messages to it. By linking computers together into a network, they can share resources such as printers and files, as well as send messages back and forth.
