ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

quantum gravity theory

Quantum gravity theory is a way of looking at how gravity and quantum mechanics work together. In quantum mechanics, particles behave in strange ways and have different properties than regular objects. Gravity, on the other hand, is the force that pulls things together with strength that's weaker than any other force. Just like how two magnets attract, gravity pulls things together. Quantum gravity theory helps us understand the connection between gravity and quantum mechanics, which can help us learn more about very small particles and the universe as a whole.
