Dilaton

A dilaton is a particle in physics. It was first predicted in theories that tried to explain how gravity works at very small distances. A dilaton has a mass, like most particles, and its interactions with other particles can slightly change how gravity works. These changes are extremely small so they haven't been seen in the real world yet.
