Ambopteryx
Ambopteryx is the name of a very special dinosaur that lived a long, long time ago. It's a type of animal that had feathers (just like a bird!), but it couldn't fly. Instead, it had big wings that it probably used to glide through the air, kind of like an airplane with no engine.
Ambopteryx was really small compared to some of the other dinosaurs, and it had some really unique features. For example, its wings were made up of skin that was stretched out between its arms and legs, kind of like a bat's wings. It also had big, sharp teeth that it used to eat insects and other small creatures.
Scientists think that Ambopteryx probably lived in trees, using its wings to jump from branch to branch and glide from tree to tree. They also think that it was nocturnal, meaning that it was most active at night.
