American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese
The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) is a group of adults who really love to teach kids how to speak Spanish and Portuguese languages. Just like how your teacher at school teaches you how to read and write in English, the AATSP teachers teach kids all around America how to speak, write, and read in Spanish and Portuguese languages.
The AATSP teachers meet and talk a lot about how to make learning these languages fun and easy for kids. They even create special activities and games to help kids learn better. They also work together to create special books or videos that help kids learn Spanish or Portuguese.
If you're interested in learning Spanish or Portuguese, your teacher at school can be a member of the AATSP or even know some AATSP teachers who can help you learn!
