American Health Information Management Association

The American Health Information Management Association, or AHIMA for short, is a group of special people who work together to take care of important information about your health.

They make sure your medical records are organized and protected so that doctors and nurses can easily find the information they need to help take care of you.

AHIMA also helps create rules and guidelines for how medical records should be handled, so that your private information is kept safe and secure.

Think of AHIMA like a big team of superheroes who work behind the scenes to keep you healthy!
