American Redoubt

American Redoubt is a group of five states in the western United States including Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, and Eastern Washington. People who choose to live in that area are called "redoubters". The goal of redoubters is to be self-sufficient by being prepared for any kind of situation, such as natural disasters or political unrest. To do that, they create prepper or survival stockpiles of supplies and resources that they can use if they need to. They also focus on the importance of being able to defend themselves and their families, so they might practice shooting and martial arts and learn skills like gathering food and shelter. These people want to be independent, so they don't rely on the government for their safety and protection.
