Anabolism

Alright kiddo, so anabolism is when your body is building things up instead of breaking them down. Kind of like building a big Lego castle instead of smashing a castle made of sand.

Your body uses anabolic processes to make new proteins or to build up muscle tissue. This happens when you eat food that has the right building blocks, like amino acids, and your body uses those building blocks to make new things.

Anabolism requires energy, which your body gets by breaking down food through another process called metabolism. So, metabolism breaks things down for energy and anabolism uses that energy to build things up.

Overall, anabolism is important for growth and repair in your body, and helps you stay healthy and strong!
