Analysis of Western European colonialism and colonization

Western European colonialism and colonization was when countries in Europe, like France, England, Spain and Portugal, sent people to countries all over the world like Africa and Asia, to start colonies and try to take control of those places. These Europeans built settlements, traded with the people living there, and sometimes even took land or goods away from the people living there. It changed the lives of the people living in those places, and brought wealth and resources to Europe.
