Analytic and Enumerative Statistical Studies are two ways that people study things using numbers and math.
Analytic studies are when we think really hard about what is happening and why it is happening. We try to figure out what is the cause and effect relationship between different things. For example, we might want to know how fast people are driving on a road and why they might be driving fast. We would gather data on things like the time of day, weather, and how big the road is. Then, we would use math to figure out what factors might be causing people to drive fast.
On the other hand, enumerative studies are when we count and measure things to see how much of something there is. For example, we might want to know how many apples are in a basket or how many people live in a city. We would count each individual apple or person and add them up to get the total number.
Both types of studies help us better understand the world around us, and they use math and numbers to help us make sense of things in a systematic way.
