how rockets fly

Rockets use something called "thrust" to fly. Thrust comes from the burning of special kinds of fuel. When you light the fuel it starts burning, pushing down on the rocket. This causes the rocket to go up into the air. The fuel is controlled by things called computers, which can make sure that the rocket goes up in a very straight line. Rockets also have special wings or fins which help them to steer and fly in all different directions.
