Anarchism and violence

Anarchism is a way of thinking about living without government or rulers. Usually people think about anarchy as a chaotic place where there is lots of violence and crime, but that's not really what anarchism is about. Anarchists believe in solving problems without using the government or police, and relying on things like communication and cooperation to build a better society. Anarchists don't usually believe in using violence to solve things, but sometimes people who are anarchists might be willing to turn to violence as a way to defend their ideas and beliefs. In reality, most anarchists don't believe in using violence as a way of solving things and instead use more peaceful methods like protest and civil disobedience.
