Andean Community

The Andean Community is a group of countries that work together in South America. Just like you have friends that you like to hang out with and do things together, these countries like to work together to make their lives better.

The Andean Community includes four countries: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. These countries share some things in common, like the Andes Mountains that run through their lands and the Amazon rainforest that is nearby.

One of the ways they work together is by trading with each other. This means they exchange things like food, clothes, and toys that they produce in their own countries. By doing this, they can have more variety in the things they use and wear, and it can be cheaper for them to get things they need.

Another way they work together is by making rules that apply to all of them. Just like you have rules in school or at home that everyone needs to follow, these countries have rules that help them all live together peacefully and safely. They also work together to protect their environment and natural resources, like the mountains and the rainforest.

So, the Andean Community is like a group of friends who live in the same neighborhood and like to help each other out. They share things, make rules, and work together to make their lives better.
