Animism

Animism is a belief that all living things, like animals, plants, or even objects, have a spirit and that they can affect life. For example, some people follow animism by thinking that a river has a spirit and it is responsible for how the river behaves. People who follow animism often talk to those spirits and thank them for taking care of them and the things around them.
