Ankh

An ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol that looks like a cross with a loop on the top. It was used by the Ancient Egyptians to represent life and eternity. They believed that life was a cycle, so the top loop of the ankh symbolized the never-ending cycle of life. Ancient Egyptians also associated the ankh with the gods because it was thought to give powers of life and health and was often carried by gods and pharaohs.
