Anomaly detection

Anomaly detection is a way to find things that are unusual or different from the rest. It's like when your teacher notices something odd in your schoolwork that nobody else has in theirs. Anomaly detection looks through data to try and find patterns and anything that is outside of those patterns. For example, credit card companies use anomaly detection to look for things like unusual purchases or large amounts of money that might be a sign of fraud.
