Anthropological science fiction

Anthropological science fiction is a type of story where the characters are aliens or people from other planets who are studied by people on Earth. Through these stories, writers explore different cultures and societies, and how they might be similar to or different from ours. Additionally, they often explore how we relate to people and situations that are vastly different from us. These stories can also help us to understand each other better by exploring what it would be like if we all came from different planets, or if Earth was a very different place. A good example of this is the movie Avatar, which explores a future Earth where humans and blue-skinned aliens must learn to work together.
