Anti-Federalist Papers

The anti-federalist papers were written by people who didn’t want the United States to be a single country with a powerful federal government. Instead, they wanted the power and control to stay with the individual states. The papers were written and published in newspapers to try and convince people that having the United States stay broken up into smaller states was better than having a single federal government.
