Anti-Western sentiment

Anti-Western sentiment is when people don't like something because it comes from the Western world. This could mean people from East Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America, or any other part of the world don't like something because it's associated with the United States, Canada, Europe, or other Western countries. It could be a type of food, a political opinion, a cultural practice, or anything else. People with anti-Western sentiment might not like these things because they have different ideas about how things should be done, or because they think Western countries have done bad things in the past, or for some other reason.
