ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anti-rival good

An anti-rival good is something that everyone can use and still have it remain just as useful. For example, if everyone in your family wants the same book, they can all read the same copy without it losing any of its usefulness. Your family could also watch the same movie on the same DVD, and there would still be enough for everyone to watch and enjoy. With an anti-rival good, one person's use of it doesn't stop another from using it.
