Memento is a movie about a man who can't remember anything from more than a few minutes ago. He has a condition called anterograde amnesia, which means he can't make new memories. To help him remember what he needs to do and who he needs to talk to, he takes polaroid pictures and writes notes on them. He also gets special tattoos so he can remember what he needs to do and why he needs to do it. In the movie, he is trying to find the person who hurt him and killed his wife. He has to use these photos and tattoos to help him try to solve the mystery.
