Anti-tobacco movement in Nazi Germany

In Nazi Germany, the anti-tobacco movement was the idea that smoking was bad for your health. The Nazis believed that smoking was a bad habit and did not want people to smoke. So, they put in a few laws that tried to stop people from smoking. For example, they made it illegal to smoke in certain places, like schools and hospitals. They also banned advertising from tobacco companies and put higher taxes on cigarettes. Finally, they put up posters with messages that said "Smoking is bad for your health". By doing this, the Nazis hoped to protect the health of the people in their country and make sure that people did not start smoking.
