Antihistamine

An antihistamine is medicine that helps to relieve symptoms caused by allergies, such as a runny nose and sneezing. When your body has an allergic reaction, it releases a chemical called histamine that can cause these symptoms. Antihistamines work by blocking the effects of histamine and stopping the allergic response, so you don't have so many symptoms.
