Antonius Felix

So basically, Antonius Felix was a really important guy a long, long time ago in a place called Rome. He was in charge of important things in a place called Judea, which is now part of modern-day Israel.

He had a really cool job, he was basically like the boss of the place, and he got to make all the important decisions. He was like the king of the land, but he worked for a bigger king named Caesar who was in charge of everything in the whole country.

Antonius Felix had to make sure everything was going well in Judea, and that people were happy and safe. He also had to make sure that nobody was breaking any rules, and he had to punish anyone who did.
