Appleby Horse Fair

Ok kiddo, so Appleby Horse Fair is a really big gathering of people and horses that happens every year in a place called Appleby in England. It's like a big party for horses and their owners to show off their skills and sell their horses to others who want them.

People come from all over the world to Appleby for this fair. They set up camps and bring their horses with them. The horses are really pretty and have lots of decorations like feathers and leather straps.

During the fair, there are lots of things happening. People ride horses and race them to show who's the fastest. They also do cool tricks like standing on their horses or jumping over things. People also sell horses to others who want to buy them.

But even though it's a fun time, it's also important to be safe. Sometimes, people don't treat their horses very nicely or do things that aren't safe for them. So, there are lots of people who work to make sure the horses are taken care of and that everyone is having a good time.

Overall, Appleby Horse Fair is a big event for horse lovers to come together and have fun, but it's also important to make sure everyone is being safe and kind to the horses.
