Aquanaut

An aquanaut is someone who spends a lot of time underwater! They often use special machines to help them explore and study the ocean. Aquanauts go on long dives, sometimes staying underwater for hours or even days! They need to know a lot about the ocean, as well as how to take care of themselves while they are underwater. Aquanauts often help scientists learn more about the ocean and they sometimes work on underwater construction projects.
