Arab League boycott of Israel

Okay, so there is a group of countries called the Arab League who decided a long time ago that they didn't want to have anything to do with another country called Israel. This means they don't want to buy things from Israel or sell things to Israel, and they don't want people from Israel to come visit their countries or vice versa.

The Arab League countries all agreed to do this because they didn't like something that Israel did in the past, and they wanted to show that they were mad about it. It's kind of like if you got really mad at someone and decided you didn't want to play with them anymore. The Arab League just decided they didn't want to play with Israel.

Some people think this boycott is unfair because it affects regular people who just want to buy and sell things to each other. But the Arab League countries think it's important to show that they don't approve of what Israel did, and they want to stick together as a group.
