Arabic names of Gregorian Months are the names given to each of the 12 months we use in our calendar. Each month has an Arabic name. They are:
1. Muharram - This month is the first month of the Islamic calendar and is often considered the most important month. It is a time of prayer and reflection.
2. Safar - This month is a time for purification and the start of a new year.
3. Rabi' al-Awwal - This month is known as the month of revelation, as the Holy Qur'an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during this month.
4. Rabi' al-Thani - This month is named after the second of four Companions of the Prophet.
5. Jumada al-Ula - This month is known for being a time for spiritual retreat and increased worship.
6. Jumada al-Akhirah - This month is known for being a time for giving and charity.
7. Rajab - This month is important for Muslims, as it was the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
8. Sha'ban - This month is known for being a time for preparation and reflection before the start of Ramadan.
9. Ramadan - This month is the holiest and most important month of the Islamic calendar. It is a month of fasting, prayer and increased generosity.
10. Shawwal - This month is a month of celebration and reward for successfully completing the fast of Ramadan.
11. Dhu al-Qidah - This month is a time for the remembrance of Allah and for striving for spiritual goals.
12. Dhu al-Hijjah - This month marks the end of the Islamic calendar, and is an important month for Hajj, or the pilgrimage to Mecca for Muslims.
