Arakkal kingdom

Once upon a time, in a faraway land known as Kerala, there was a special kingdom called the Arakkal Kingdom. Imagine it as a big, beautiful puzzle with its own special piece that fit perfectly in the bigger picture of India.

In this kingdom, there was a royal family called the Arakkal family. They were like the boss of this puzzle piece. The head of the family was called the Sultan, which means the ruler. The Sultan was super important and had lots of power in the Arakkal Kingdom.

The Arakkal Kingdom was a coastal area, which means it was close to the sea, just like a beach. People living there loved the ocean and had a connection with the sailors and fishermen. They even had their own navy, just like the captain of a big ship.

The people of the Arakkal Kingdom were very peaceful and loved their Sultan. They had their own rules and customs, different from other places in Kerala. They also had their own flag, which was a sign of their identity and pride.

During their rule, they built many beautiful buildings, like grand palaces and mosques. They took care of their people and made sure everyone was happy and safe. They looked after their kingdom as its guardians, just like a big brother protecting his little sister.

But as time passed, things changed. The bigger puzzle of India started to come together, and different kingdoms started to unite and become one nation. One day, India became independent from the British, who had been ruling the country for a long time.

This independence affected the Arakkal Kingdom too. India wanted all the puzzle pieces to come together and be one big picture, so they asked the Arakkal Kingdom to become a part of India. The Sultan and the people of the Arakkal Kingdom agreed because they wanted to be a part of something bigger and help their country grow.

So, the Arakkal Kingdom became a part of India, just like their puzzle piece fit into the bigger Indian puzzle. The Sultan became a citizen of India, and the Arakkal family continued to be respected and loved by the people.

Even though the Arakkal Kingdom doesn't exist anymore as a separate kingdom, it still holds a special place in history. It reminds us that every puzzle piece, no matter how big or small, is important and contributes to making a bigger picture.
