ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Architectural pattern

Okay kiddo, so imagine you want to build a big house with lots of rooms and cool features. But you don't want to just make it up as you go along because then it might end up looking weird or not working very well. So instead, you use a pattern!

Think of a pattern like a set of instructions for building something. For your house, you might use an architectural pattern. This pattern tells you things like where to put the doors and windows, how to make sure the floors are level, and how to connect all the rooms together in a way that makes sense.

Architectural patterns are used by builders and architects to make sure the things they build are strong, functional, and look good. They can be used for all kinds of buildings, not just houses - like skyscrapers, museums, or even bridges!

So basically, an architectural pattern is like a recipe for building something, but instead of cookies or cupcakes, it's for building big, important things like buildings and bridges. It helps make sure everything is built the right way and looks awesome when it's finished!
