Archives of African American music and culture are a collection of important songs, pictures, stories, and documents from African American history that are saved so that people can learn about this culture in the future. These archives can include old radio recordings, sheet music for songs, albums made by famous African American musicians, photographs of people, and other documents. They tell us about the lives, experiences, and accomplishments of African American people.
