Argumentum ad lazarum

Imagine you and your friend are arguing about something. Your friend says that they are right because they don't have as much money as you do. That is called an "argumentum ad lazarum." It means that your friend is trying to win the argument by saying that they are right just because they don't have as much money as you.

But having more or less money doesn't necessarily mean you're right or wrong about something. It's important to look at the facts and evidence to decide who is right. So, it's not fair to use someone's financial situation to decide who is right in an argument. We should focus on the actual facts and evidence.
