Arhat

An arhat is a Buddhist who has reached the highest level of spiritual perfection. This person is said to be free from suffering and has reached a state of enlightenment. An arhat has perfected all of the skills needed to become one with the universe and to be free of clinging to selfish desires. To reach this level of spiritual perfection, an arhat must practice and live their life in accordance with Buddhist teachings, like those of the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.
