Arrow poison

Arrow poison is a substance that can be put on the tips of arrows or darts to make them deadly. You know how in movies and video games, people shoot arrows and it hurts or kills the bad guys? Well, arrow poison is what makes that happen.

Some people who live in jungles or swamps made arrow poison from the poison of certain animals and plants. They would carefully collect the poison and put it on the tips of their arrows or darts. That way, when they hunted or fought enemies, they could use their weapons to hurt or kill their target without getting too close.

Now, you might be wondering why anyone would do such a thing. The answer is pretty simple: survival. Sometimes people need to hunt animals to get food, and if they don't have a gun, the only way to do it is with a bow and arrow. Arrow poison makes it easier to catch animals because it can kill them quickly or make them too slow to run away.

It's not just animals that can be hunted with arrow poison, though. People in the past also used it in battles. If two groups were fighting, the one with the poison arrows had a big advantage. They could shoot from a distance and the poison would make their enemies sick or even kill them.

So, while arrow poison may sound scary, it's actually just a tool that some people used to survive in the past. Nowadays, people don't really use it anymore because we have better ways of hunting and fighting. But it's still interesting to learn about how people used to live and what they did to survive.
