Arsenical bronze

Arsenical bronze is like a special kind of metal that people used a long time ago. It's called "arsenical" because it has a little bit of a poison called arsenic in it.

To make arsenical bronze, you need three things: copper, tin, and a little bit of arsenic. Copper is a kind of metal that is pretty easy to find and work with. Tin is another kind of metal that is also pretty easy to find. Arsenic is a poison that can be dangerous if you use too much of it, but a small amount can make the bronze stronger and easier to work with.

The people who made arsenical bronze were really good at mixing these three things together. They would heat up the copper and tin until they melted, then they would add just a little bit of arsenic. After it all mixed together, they would pour it into molds and let it cool.

The reason why people used arsenical bronze is that it was really good for making tools and weapons. It was strong and sharp, so you could use it to cut things like wood or stone. It was also good for making things like swords and shields, which soldiers used to protect themselves in battles.

Today, we don't really use arsenical bronze anymore because we have better ways of making metals and we don't want to use things that are poisonous. But back then, it was a really important material that helped people make all kinds of things.
