Arthur Lewis (economist)

Arthur Lewis was an economist who studied how countries become richer. He found out that when countries start to become richer, they need more workers to do jobs in factories and offices. He also looked at how countries without a lot of money could still make their citizens richer. He came up with a way to help countries develop their economies so that more people could become prosperous. He showed that with a mix of investments, education, and economic policies, it is possible for countries to improve their economies and make more money for their citizens.
