Artificial ski slopes

Artificial ski slopes are like big hills covered in fake snow that people use to ski and snowboard when there is not enough natural snow. Companies make these slopes by using special machines to create a layer of snow-like material called "snowflex" which is similar to a giant carpet that is made of plastic fibers. The snowflex is then sprayed with water to make it slippery, just like real snow. The slopes are made to be safe with soft edges to cushion falls and are often indoors, so people can ski and snowboard all year round. Think of it like a playground for skiing and snowboarding, where even if it's hot outside, you can still feel like you're on the slopes.
