Artist-run space

Artist-run spaces are places where artists gather, show their artwork, and do other activities related to art. It's a bit like a clubhouse, but it's dedicated to supporting art and art-related activities. Artists might use the space to have meetings and discuss art-related topics, hold openings and receptions for their artwork, show movies or installations, or organize lectures and workshops. Artist-run spaces help provide a place to come together and share ideas and resources, and it can also be a place to help support each other's art practices.
