Arvanitic alphabet

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of the alphabet? It's the set of letters we use to write words and sentences. Well, the Arvanitic alphabet is a special alphabet that was created a long time ago for a group of people called the Arvanites.

The Arvanites are people who live in parts of Greece and Albania and they have their own language called Arvanitic. But their language wasn't the same as the Greek language that most people around them were speaking, so they needed their own set of letters to write it down.

So, the Arvanitic alphabet was created just for them. It has 40 letters, which is a lot more than the regular alphabet, and some of the letters look different too.

The Arvanitic alphabets doesn't get used as much these days because most Arvanites now use the regular Greek alphabet to write their language. But it's still important to learn about it because it has an interesting history and it's a part of the Arvanites' cultural heritage.
