Aspirator (medical device)

An aspirator is a tool that doctors use to remove yucky boogers, mucus or fluids from our nose or mouth when we're feeling sick. It sorta looks like a long straw with a nosepiece or mouthpiece. The doctor or nurse will put one end of the straw in their mouth and the other end goes into your nose or mouth. They might ask you to breathe in or they might use a little pump to suck the yucky stuff out. This helps us breathe better and feel better!
