Astrobee

Astrobee is a robot that looks like a small box or a cube. It has cameras to see things, sensors to feel things, and arms to pick up objects. Astrobee is like a helper that astronauts can use while they are living on the International Space Station (ISS). The ISS is like a big house floating in space where astronauts work and live for months at a time.

Astrobee’s job is to help the astronauts with tasks that are repetitive, boring, or dangerous. For example, Astrobee can fly around the ISS and inspect it for damage. It can also move equipment and supplies from one place to another. If an astronaut drops something and cannot reach it, Astrobee can pick it up and give it back to the astronaut. Astrobee can even play games with the astronauts to help them stay happy and healthy in space.

Astrobee is important because it can do things that humans cannot do easily in space, like flying in zero gravity. Astrobee is also designed to work independently and safely, so astronauts do not have to worry about it causing any problems on the ISS. Astrobee is controlled by computers on the ISS, so astronauts can tell it what to do or give it commands.

Astrobee is a very cool robot that helps astronauts do their work more efficiently and safely in space.
